Ready for sportiness. The new Audi SQ5 TFSI.

Go for it! The new Audi SQ5 TFSI impresses with stunning performance, everyday applicability and progressive technology and equipment. The newly developed 3.0-litre V6 TFSI engine delivers 260 kW (365 HP) and catapults the Audi SQ5 TFSI from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds accompanied by a distinctive engine sound. Clear contours, the S-specific air intakes in titanium black matt and sporty door trim strips accentuate the Q-specific design with distinctive S-characteristics. In the driver’s seat, ready, steady, go.

The design of the SQ5 TFSI is anything but one-sided. Distinctive bumpers, S-specific air inlets and the diffuser with a honeycomb grille emphasise the front and rear. The S-specific cooling grille with its aluminium double slats and trim in matt twilight grey conveys effective accents, while the exterior mirrors in aluminium and the door attachment strips in vehicle colour underline the sporty look even more. The exterior panther black metallic colour is also available exclusively for the SQ5. The double-flow twin tailpipe and red S logo guarantee a dynamic appearance. The V6 badge on the side sills emphasises the power of the SQ5 at first glance.

  • Welcome to the powerful interior

The interior impresses at first glance with infotainment equipment and high-quality workmanship. The standard equipment has been upgraded: sports seats in Alcantara/leather combination with S-embossed and illuminated door sills with S lettering are included as standard, as is the 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel with multifunction plus and S emblem. Infotainment features, such as the Audi virtual cockpit, come standard. Design details such as decorative inserts in carbon atlas or piano black are also available. Depending on the position of the rear bench, the luggage compartment has a capacity of 500 to 610 litres. With completely folded rear seat backrest, a maximum of 1,550 litres are available. Further standard features are the 20-inch aluminium cast wheels in the 5-twin spoke star design, LED headlights, and S-specific damper control.

Engines and transmissions

  • Powerful like a sprinter

The V6 TFSI high-performance engine delivers 260 kW (365 HP) and 500 Nm, taking only 5.4 seconds to reach 100 km/h. The top speed is 250 km/h. It is supported by impressive technologies such as the standard all-wheel drive quattro with optional sport differential. An eight-speed tiptronic manages the transmission with quick and convenient shifting. The response has been significantly improved. This way the Audi SQ5 can perform in top form in curves and on uneven roads.

Efficiency

  • Consistently efficient.

Vorsprung durch Technik is the claim to which the Audi brand is committed. Not only where sportiness is concerned, but in terms of future-oriented mobility as well. Audi consistently implements various efficiency measures to add to this concept. As a developer of numerous innovations, Audi has had a long-lasting effect on the automotive industry.

Vorsprung durch Technik is the claim to which the Audi brand is committed. Not only where sportiness is concerned, but in terms of future-oriented mobility as well. Audi consistently implements various efficiency measures in an overall concept. As a developer of numerous innovations, Audi has had a long-lasting effect on the automotive industry.

    Recuperation

Increasing the generator voltage converts kinetic energy into usable electrical energy when the vehicle is coasting or braking. This energy recuperation is used to assist the generator during subsequent acceleration, saving up to 3 % fuel.

    tiptronic

The 8-speed tiptronic combines high shifting ease with powerful drive-off ratio. It also ensures low engine revs at higher speeds, thus making a crucial contribution to reducing consumption and emission values. And the 8-speed tiptronic is equipped with effective efficiency technology thanks to the converter lock-up.

    LED technology

The LEDs used for the daytime running light strip and the side indicators and rear lights are characterised by their long service life and use significantly less energy than conventional bulbs.

    Economic route planning

The MMI® navigation plus with economic route planning uses the map data to calculate an optional route with minimum distance and driving time. This leads to lower fuel consumption. Calculation is dynamic, i.e. the current traffic situation is taken into account.

    adaptive cruise control

The optional automatic distance control function adaptive cruise control (control range: 30–200 km/h) works within system limits to detect vehicles driving ahead with the aid of a radar sensor. It makes an important contribution to a constant driving style and thus to minimising fuel consumption.
