The design of the new Audi Q7 e-tron quattro strikes a balance between powerful, precision design language and elegant understatement. Details such as the prominent Singleframe grille, the striking wheel design and flared arches reflect the model’s genetic origin.

    A strong personality

All of its lines and surfaces are finished precisely and concisely, they emphasise the car’s width and solidity. Its tailgate embraces the steeply angled D-pillars, which is typical of the Q models from Audi. In the Q7 e-tron quattro the Singleframe, the air inlets, the 19-inch wheels and the rear diffuser are specially highlighted. The headlights are designed three dimensionally, the car’s light signature resembles a double arrow.

The bodywork plays a considerable part in achieving the Audi Q7 e-tron quattro’s comparatively low curb weight. With its many components made of hot-formed steel and aluminium, it uses the same lightweight potentials as the conventional Q7. The drag coefficient is 0.34.

  • Interior

The Audi Q7 e-tron quattro offers the most spacious interior in its segment. Take a seat and enjoy the outstanding comfort and incredible technology. Audi’s virtual cockpit comes as standard and presents all trip-relevant information on a high-resolution 12.3-inch colour display.

    Elegant design

Design elements, such as the wrap-around, i.e. the great arc around the driver and passenger, decorative strips or the linear array of air vents emphasise the interior’s spaciousness. The two-part application surfaces allow many individual combinations; the range of cover materials corresponds to that of luxury class cars. No compromises have been made regarding the workmanship, as is typical for Audi.

    Change perspective

A highlight of the Q7 e-tron is Audi’s virtual cockpit, which comes as standard, the fully digital instrument cluster with its 12.3-inch diagonal display size presents all important information in fascinating graphics of brilliant quality. The driver can call up various information layers, including specific e-tron indicators such as energy flow, range and the battery charge level.

    Fascinating technology

The Audi Q7 e-tron quattro features the latest infotainment technology, with the second generation, modular infotainment platform. The system can be operated via voice control, the multifunction steering wheel or the newly developed MMI terminal, the MMI touchpad.

    Interior versatility

The three rear seats have adjustable backrests and can be moved forwards and backwards as desired. The luggage compartment holds 650 litres in its normal set-up and 1,835 litres at maximum capacity. An electrically operated tailgate comes as standard.

Engines and transmissions

  • Drivetrain

Sustainability and great dynamics. The Audi Q7 e-tron quattro brings an electric engine together with a TDI combustion engine and efficiently combines the benefits of both. A vehicle that sets the bar in many ways.

    Sporting power with minimum consumption

The Audi Q7 e-tron quattro is the world’s first plug-in-hybrid car with a six-cylinder-diesel engine and permanent all-wheel drive. Its sporting power is impressive: The 3.0 TDI and the electric motor together produce 275 kW (373 hp) and 700 Nm of torque, enough for a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and for a top speed of 230 km/h. In pure electric mode the Q7 e-tron quattro covers up to 56 kilometres. In accordance with the ECE standard for plug-in hybrid vehicles the Audi Q7 e-tron quattro uses a mere 1.9 litres of diesel and produces only 50 grams of CO2 output per kilometre.

    Electric range

The lithium-ion battery is composed of 168 high-quality battery cells and is liquid cooled. Its 17.3 kWh capacity permits a 56 kilometre range during electric operation – another record in the segment.

The new Q7 e-tron quattro features the new two-phase charging technology, which permits charge connections of up to 7.2 kW. As a result, depending on the infrastructure and the charging cable, a full battery charge can be achieved in approximately two and a half hours.

    The hybrid management system

The hybrid management system controls the Audi Q7 e-tron quattro’s operating states intelligently, flexibly and highly efficiently. The driver can choose between four modes. The electric drive mode prioritises electric driving; in the hybrid mode the hybrid management system itself makes most of the drive selection decisions. In the battery hold mode it stores the available electrical energy, and in the battery charge mode it charges the battery.

Sportiness, comfort and efficiency: The Audi Q7 e-tron quattro is the world’s first TDI plug-in hybrid with quattro drive. From a standing start it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, while consuming only 1.9 litres per 100 km.
