    The unmistakeable style of the Audi design also characterises the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron. It is the little details that make a big difference, e.g. the e-tron-specific Singleframe, the radiator grille and diffuser in black matt with horizontal chrome struts.

    The standard 17″ 15 spoketurbine design turbine design alloy wheels are available exclusively for this model. They give the A3 Sportback e-tron its striking look. Stylish side sills underline the sporty dynamics.

    When you get in the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron, it seems like every other Audi you are familiar with. A high-quality interior, comfortable and generously sized as usual. Yet you will notice subtle differences.

    The e-tron logo adorns the door sill trim, selector lever knob and dashboard.


    Concentrated performance at a glance.

    In the cockpit you will find the powermeter in place of the rev counter. As well as displaying the overall system power, it also shows the drive status and state of charge of the battery.

    Plenty of space.

    A glance in the luggage compartment will surprise you too. A plug-in hybrid without space problems. 280 litres of luggage space are available for you. Enough room to store your luggage comfortably on a trip – as you would expect from an A3 Sportback.

    A3 Sportback e-tron

    From 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 secondsFrom 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and a top speed of 222 km/h – the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron adds an extra highlight to the sporty character of the compact premium car line. In accordance with the ECE standard for plug-in hybrid vehicles, its average CO2 emissions are a mere 35 grams per km – equivalent to consumption of 1.5 liters* of fuel per 100 km. 
    Disc-shaped electric motorThe Audi A3 Sportback e-tron uses the highly efficient concept of a parallel hybrid. The combustion engine is a modified 1.4 TFSI, which develops 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque. The TFSI operates in tandem with an electric motor that generates 75 kW and 330 Nm of power.The disc-shaped electric motor is integrated into a newly designed six-speed e-S tronic, which transfers the power to the front wheels. The two powerplants complement each other. The electric motor develops peak torque from start to around 2,000 rpm, and the TFSI’s maximum pulling power is available in a range from 1,750 to 4,000 rpm. 
    Powerful accelerationThe Audi A3 Sportback e-tron can be driven with just the combustion engine, just the electric drive or in hybrid mode. Even in electric mode it offers powerful acceleration without the need to engage the TFSI.The driver can choose to have both powerplants active at the same time (“boosting”). When the driver lets up on the accelerator, they both deactivate temporarily (“gliding”). In this way, engine braking torque is eliminated and efficiency increases.

    Audi e-tron is part of a holistic mobility concept. The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron drives particularly efficiently in the electric mode when the charging current is provided by regenerative energies such as wind, solar and water power. This makes maximum use of the ecological advantages of your A3 Sportback e-tron.



    Allows fuel savings through brake energy recovery and thus leads to a significant increase in efficiency; conversion of kinetic energy into useful electrical energy. Infinite adjustment of recuperation takes place by means of the electrical brake servo. The energy recuperated is stored in the lithium-ion battery and used to operate the electric motor, for climate control and vehicle energy supply. The recuperation force can be influenced via the selector lever and the gears “D” (Drive) or “S” (Sport). There is a high level of recuperation in the “S” gear.


    Audi drive select®

    Adjustment of individual vehicle characteristics using different modes: auto, comfort, dynamic and – in conjunction with MMI radio or MMI navigation plus with MMI touch – individual. When in “D” gear, coasting mode in all Audi drive select modes allows an anticipatory driving style and helps to reduce fuel consumption.

    6-speed S tronic with integrated electric motor

    integrated unit comprising a separating clutch, electric motor and 6-speed dual-clutch transmission with electrohydraulic actuation; connects or interrupts the power transmission of the TFSI® or electric motor to the drivetrain depending on the driving situation, thus permitting shorter gearchanging times and gear changing with hardly any break in propulsive power. The S tronic® can be manually operated using the optional shift paddles behind the steering wheel or the selector lever. In automatic mode drivers can choose between the programs “D” (Drive) and “S” (Sport) and can thus influence recuperation force. Includes hold assist
