    The standard 19–inch cast aluminium wheels in 5-parallel-spoke star design as well as the NCO metallic paint reinforce the athletic impression of the S5 Coupe.


    Sovereign appearance

    The S5 Coupe seems to appear even more sporty thanks to the Sports front grill with its S5 badging and the S Sports Design bumper. The xenon plus headlights are equipped with an LED daytime running light strip.

    The distinctive rear is not just where the car ends, but a statement: the four oval twin tailpipes signal power, the clearly defined trailing edge suggests consistency.

    The interior of the Audi S5 Coupé is characterised by pure sportiness, thanks to the aluminium dashboard inserts, driver information system with colour display, extended leather armrests and leather-covered multifunction sport steering wheel with S5 emblem and shift paddles in aluminium look. The interior is generously comfortable.

    The engine


    The new Audi S5 Coupé will launch with the newly developed 3.0 TFSI engine generating 260 kW (354 hp) and 500nm. The eight-speed tiptronic in combination with quattro drive makes the most of our technology to put powerful excellence on the road.

    Start-stop system

    The start-stop system helps to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by switching off the engine in stationary pahses, e. g. at traffic lights. The starting process is initiated as soon as the driver presses the clutch or releases the foot brake for the vehicle to move off again. Can be deactivated at any time via a button.


    Driver information system with efficiency program

    The driver information system display concentrates numerous individual displays centrally in the cockpit, and permanently indicates the vehicle’s current operating state. The integrated efficiency program assists the driver by providing consumption data overviews, a display of additional loads and fuel-saving tips for more economic driving.


    S tronic®

    The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission S tronic combines the low fuel consumption of a manual transmission with the benefits of an automatic. The control ensures fast and consumption-reducing gear shifting in automatic mode. The very large transmission-ratio spread of the S tronic allows the last gears to be used at very low engine speeds.



    Increasing the generator voltage converts kinetic energy into usable electrical energy when the vehicle is coasting or braking. This recovered (braking) energy is used to assist the generator during subsequent acceleration, saving up to 3 % fuel.
